Autumn

Been out and about with the lovely Chloe from BareBlooms on a photoshoot with a few of our new shop samples! Chloe produces all her own flowers at her lovely polytunnel in rural Mid-Wales, for weddings, fairs and all events, we are lucky enough to frequently have BareBlooms in the shop.

New Blog!

Lots have gone on in the past 6 months, both Mum and I have suffered with our health and as a result the shop has suffered a little. We are really lucky to have such fabulous customers and friends who have helped us out over this time. But enough about that, will save it for another time!

So its the Summer Holidays, both children are here with me at the shop when I make it in, with the exception of Gamps helping out and the lovely girl from the office over the road. So we have turned our attention to children's crafting. I picked up this great book on Monday,

The Crafty Kid, by Kelly Doust which is jam packed full of crafting with kids. You can find Kelly's website here and it has some lovely vintage, recycling ideas http://thecraftyminx.com.au/
Not long now to the Knighton Show and both have informed me they are entering 9 categories each!! Blimey! I remember baking and sewing and knitting and fly tying, to try and win a prize of all about 50p! But its all great fun and keeps them occupied. Nia is really getting in to her sewing and is making a Ladybird out of felt to go on a plate, must try and photograph their entries this year.
